Florals and pastels are out, 2018’s spring summer trend has become more abstract and vibrant! People are not anymore afraid to wear the brightest colors. As the hype is slowly influencing runway collections, kidswear designers didn’t shy away from bold trend with designers coming up with the most abstract and bizarre prints in every color possible. Stylists layer color after color. Fashion is now as vibrant as it gets.

1.) Relaxed Silhouette in Muted Tones

Unlike adult fashion where we can wear shoes that will suck the life out of our feet, or clothes made out of chain mail cut in the weirdest parts, comfort is a vital part of kids clothing. Designers need to take consideration of how the fabric affects kids skin and how it will fit them, their activities and other factors. Mix it up with a muted color palette and it’s the exact definition of less is more.

2.) All shades of pink

We don’t just wear them on Wednesdays. From blush to hot pink it just brings out our inner Regina George. The color is very versatile depending on the tone or hue.

3.) Vibrant Abstract Prints

Gone are the days when monochrome is worn all year round, and florals are the official print of summer. The rise of the most vibrant colors and festive prints started with womenswear streetstyle pioneered by bloggers and influencers across the globe.
